Two Bathhouses. One Tradition.

For over a century the Russian Turkish baths encourages traditional, shared rituals of bathing for a day filled with schvitzing, detoxing, playing, steaming, eating, exercising, swimming, and having fun. Discover an unexpected paradise.

Opened in New York in 1892, expanded to Miami in 1994, we carry forward the same timeless practice: heat, cold, connection & community.

In New York, the bathhouse is run by two families - Boris and David - on alternating weeks.

In Miami, one family runs it year-round.

Traditional Russian Banya

Our most popular room, the Russian Room is a traditional Russian banya with benches surrounding
a rock-walled furnace with 15 tons of rock on brick arches, heated overnight to radiate intense heat throughout the day. Filled buckets of ice cold water are poured over ones head to cool off, improve blood circulation, and enhance oxygen supply all throughout the body.

This ancient ritual leads to a complete cleansing of mind, body, and soul.

"В который день паришься, тот день не ста́ришься."
"The day you spend in the banya is the day you do not age."

They are looking at the camera, with the man leaning against a marble ledge and the woman sitting beside him. There is a bottle of water on the ledge, and the background shows a tiled wall and a glass window.
Two men seated in a wooden sauna, wearing slippers and towels around their shoulders, smiling at the camera.
Three shirtless men sitting on a wooden bench inside a tiled room, with the middle man wearing a pointed hat, and the right man wearing a gray headscarf.
Four people, three men and one woman, in a swimming pool at an indoor water park, with a rocky backdrop and colorful lighting. The man on the right is flexing his muscles, the others are smiling.
